Rothley Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the Rothley Home Office Kit Giveaway (the "Giveaway"). By entering, you ("Participant") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that all the information you provide is correct and complete. This Giveaway is organised by Rothley ("we" or "us").

2. Who Can Enter?

The Giveaway is open to all legal residents of the United Kingdom who are 16 years of age or older. If you work for Rothley or are an immediate family member of someone who does, unfortunately, you’re not eligible to enter.

3. When Does It Run?

The Giveaway runs from 27th September to 4th October, closing at midnight. Make sure to submit your entry during this time to be in with a chance of winning!

4. How to Enter

Entering is easy! Simply fill out the registration form https://www.rothley.com/pages/screwfix-live-2024-give-away. By doing so, you’ll also be opting into our marketing emails, which means you’ll hear about our latest news and promotions. Don’t worry – you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing sales@rothley.com.

• Only one entry per person is allowed.
• You don’t need to buy anything to enter – it’s completely free!

5. What’s the Prize?

We’re giving away a fantastic Home Office Kit worth approximately £200 to one lucky winner. The prize is non-transferable, and we’re unable to offer a cash alternative.

6. How Will the Winner Be Chosen?

We’ll be selecting one winner at random from all the entries we receive. The draw will take place shortly after the competition closes, and the winner will be announced on the following Monday. Our decision is final, and we won’t be able to enter into any correspondence about the results.

7. How Will I Know If I’ve Won?

If you’re the lucky winner, we’ll send you an email within 2-3 days of the competition ending (so keep an eye on your inbox!). You’ll need to respond within 7 days to claim your prize, or we’ll have to pick someone else.

8. How Will I Get My Prize?

We’ll send your prize to the UK address you provide at no extra cost to you. Once we ship it, we’re not responsible for any delays, damage, or loss in transit – but we’ll do everything we can to ensure it arrives safely!

9. How Will My Data Be Used?

By entering the Giveaway, you’re agreeing to let us use the information you provide (like your name and email) for two things:

• To run the Giveaway (choose a winner, send the prize, etc.).
• To add you to our marketing email list, so you’ll get updates about Rothley products, offers, and news.

Your data will be securely stored in our Shopify database and handled in line with UK data protection laws, including the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. We won’t share your details with any third-party marketers without your consent.

10. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify anyone who we think is trying to game the system or not playing fair.

11. Changes to the Giveaway

If something unexpected comes up – like a technical issue or any other reason outside of our control – we reserve the right to change, cancel, or suspend the Giveaway.

12. Limitation of Liability

Rothley won’t be responsible for:

• Inaccurate information or technical problems that affect your ability to enter.
• Any injury or damage that might happen as a result of participating in the Giveaway or using the prize.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be handled under UK law.
