Rothley Curtain Poles Guide: Finishes and Lengths Explained
Curtain poles are typically an aspect of decorating that we forget about until the end of the project.
Curtain poles are typically an aspect of decorating that we forget about until the end of the project. Once all the important furniture and accessories have been added, we then tend to focus on what we all know as the 'lesser important' parts. Be honest. How many of you have put up an old piece of sheet to use as makeshift curtains whilst you redecorate your space... and how many of you just left them to stay a permanent feature of the room? We know at least 1 of you is guilty.
At Rothley, we believe you should consider your curtain pole throughout the entire decoration process, not just at the end. We have a wide selection of curtain pole kits available that match any type of home. So let's dive into this blog, focusing on the different finishes and lengths available.

Now we've explored the physical design of the curtain poles, let's take a closer look at how they have been created to maintain numerous lengths and ease of installation.

What Is An Extendable Curtain Pole?
At Rothley, we have a range of extendable curtain pole kits, which have been designed to adjust the pole to fit the width of your window without needing to cut it down or buy another pole. Our adjustable poles come in 3 different lengths: 71cm - 120cm, 125cm - 216cm and 165cm - 300cm.
Thanks to the included patented Klick Fit Brackets, this pole is simple to install. Simply click the pole into place; its design also hides screws, improving the visibility of your pole. Due to the Klick Fit aspect, this makes the pole easier to remove, so you can frequently switch up your pole colour with one of the above finishes if you're feeling creative.
To extend the pole itself, when it arrives, it will be at its shortest length. Pulling the two ends of the pole will increase the length. The overlap of the sections allows you to fine-tune the length without cutting the pole. Basically, you won't even know by looking at it that the pole has been extended.
